My Task

•Take pictures of all 21 Lamp Post & their surroundings

•Take Lamp Post Coordinates & Throughputs (Ping, Uplink & Downlink)

•Observe  Lamp type

•Compile in excel sheet

Warehouse Procedures

•Packing for Delivery Order (DO)

1.Check all products in the DO are in stock

2.Pack accordingly to Product name & Quantity

3.Label boxes that have more than one product

4.Ask another person to check

5.Packer and checker must include Name, Signature & Date

•Checking of packed Delivery Order (DO)

1.Make sure Product name & Quantity are correct

2.Check for correct labelling of boxes

3.Name, Signature & Date

•Arrival of new stocks

1.Check the condition of the products

2.Make sure products are placed at the correct places

SMS to Excel (Done Daily)

1.Insert SIM Card and SD Card to mobile phone

2.Mobile phone must have “ExcelSMS” application installed

3.Enter Starting and Ending date of SMS to be exported (E.g. 1st January 2015 to 30th January 2015)

4.Wait for the SMS to be exported

5.To access the excel file, remove SD Card and insert into SD Card adapter and connect to computer

My First Week @ Infracomms

• Met some of the people working in Infracomms (Freddie, Kelvin, Hwee Eng & Gary)

• Learned more about the company and what they do (Vision, Mision, Achievements)

• Introduced to a few of the main products the company sells to customers (E.g. Repeaters, Cables, Antennas, Wires etc)

• Learned how to connect a SIM card to the computer and to dial a number in the computer

• Learned how to do the Remote Dial in Report (Main objective of the report is to contact the repeaters of our existing clients/locations to test whether it is working)

• Helped the company to look for Bintan Packages in January 2015 for their trip and also inquire regarding the company's free Yacht package issued by Singtel.
